::Swiss Central Bank USD22 Billion Loss>>

Go Finance Report - Swiss central bank said they have been losers for 21 billion Swiss francs (USD22 billion) in 2010.

This loss itself allegedly because the swiss franc is considered as a safe investment when compared to the U.S. dollar and euro.

"Because this country's currency as investors considered a safe investment, so that experienced a sharp rise against the dollar and euro," said the Swiss Central Bank as Reported by the AFP on Sunday (01/16/2011)

Swiss National Bank has repeatedly intervened to stop the movement of continued increase of Swiss francs against euros. It was revealed when the loss is derived from foreign exchange transactions reached 26 billion franc.

"This loss comes from foreign currency transactions which reached 26 billion francs. although losses recorded only in part because profit is offset by gold reserves,"said Swiss banks.

Loss of central banks, initially discovered in 2010 in which the figures released this coming after a financial report of 2009 success, when the bank reported an annual profit of 10 billion francs. The central bank's annual report in 2010 will be released in March. (GoFinance)
