::Mining Sector Up 4.02%, Jakarta Composite Index soared 32 pts>>

Go Finance Report - Even had slowed at the end of the session I, Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG), back flying at the close of the second trading day of 2011 by scoring 32 points. Although, the global negative sentiment begin to blow, however, the improvement step cantilever sector indices, especially the mining sector index increased just be the trigger today.

IHSG, on Tuesday (04/01/2011) evening closed rose 32.54 points, or 0.87 percent to 3760.06. LQ45 index rose 5.09 points to 673.04 followed by the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII), which edged up 0.6 points to 538.26.

Day trading is fairly lively with transaction value reached Rp6, 438 trillion and the volume reached 6.378 billion shares. As many as 128 stocks advanced, 110 stocks advanced, and 77 stocks remained unchanged in price. Meanwhile, foreign transactions are recorded net buying action amounted to Rp591, 59 billion.

Asian stocks until this afternoon was still observed positive where the Nikkei 225 is still headed 169.18 points, or 1.65 percent, to 10,398.10, followed by Hang Seng an increasingly rising to 232.43 points, or 0.99 percent to 23,668.48 and the Straits Times rose 18.04 points, or 0.56 percent to 3253.81.

Meanwhile, European bourses in early trade moves both ways Diman FTSE 100 index rose 99.4 points, or 1.68 percent, to 5999.69. But the DAX fell 14.15 points, or just 0.2 percent to 6975.31 and the CAC 40 also down 3.56 points, or 0.08 percent to 3897.74.

The mining sector sharply shot up to 136.96 points (4.02 percent) to support the movement of the index today. Followed by the plantation sector, which rose 37.57 points and the consumption sector rose 7.84 points. While the manufacturing sector decreased 1.1 points.

Stocks that move strengthened (Top gainers) include PT Bayan Resources Tbk (ITMG) rose Rp2.200 to Rp56.500, PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) rose Rp950 to Rp24.900, and PT United Tractors Tbk (UNTR) rose Rp950 to Rp25.250.

Meanwhile, stocks that move down (top lossers) including PT Astra International Tbk (ASII) down Rp1.900 to Rp52.500, PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk (AALI) down Rp350 to Rp26.450, and PT Indocitra Finance Tbk (incf) down Rp275 to Rp2.825. (GoFinance)
