::Steady, IHSG Closed Stronger 24 pts>>

Go Finance Reporting - Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) still continued strengthening in the early years of golden rabbit. Although today there is an announcement of inflation below expectations, but the index continued to strengthen in scoring 24 points.

IHSG, on Monday (3/1/2010) evening closed rose 24.01 points, or 0.65 percent to 3727.52. LQ45 index rose 6.57 points to 667.95 and the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) rose 4.76 points to 537.66.

Transactions of the day is fairly lively, with transaction value reached Rp4, 892 trillion and the total volume of 4.654 billion shares. As many as 132 stocks advanced, 98 stocks fell, and 72 stocks remained unchanged in price. Foreign transactions are still stained with the number of net buying buying of Rp632, 54 billion.

Asian stocks continue to move in a positive where the Hang Seng index continued rising up to 400.6 points, or 1.74 percent to 23,436.05, followed by the Straits Times which rose 46.47 points, or 1.46 percent to 3236.51 and the Shanghai Composite rose 48, 5 points or 1.76 percent, to 2808.08.

Meanwhile, European bourses early trade in 2011 was also observed in such a positive track the DAX rose 76.97 points, or 1.11 percent to 6991.64 and the CAC 40 rose 55.42 points, or 1.46 percent to 3859.69. However, the only FTSE 100 index which fell to 71.07 points, or 1.19 percent, to 5899.94.

The financial sector still looks depressed by a decrease up to 5.87 points. Meanwhile, the mining sector, it soared to 132.71 points, followed by the plantation sector, which rose 36.27 points.

Stocks that move strengthened (Top gainers) include PT Bayan Resources Tbk (ITMG) rose Rp3.550 to Rp54.300, PT Gudang Garam Tbk (GGRM) rose Rp1.050 to Rp41.050, PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA ) rose 1,000 to Rp23.950, and PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk (AALI) rose Rp600 to Rp26.800.

Meanwhile, stocks that move down (top lossers) including PT Goodyear Indonesia Tbk (GDYR) down Rp1.500 to Rp11.000, PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk (UNVR) down Rp450 to Rp16.050, and PT Federal (AUTO) down Rp250 to Rp13.700. (GoFinance)
