::Print only one point, JCI Almost mired>>

Go Finance - Composite Stock Price Index (CSPI) was almost plunged into the red zone at the close of trading this weekend. Fortunately, JCI could still reach a point despite failing to park in 3700.

Negative sentiment began to haunt the global and regional markets helped push profit taking, especially at the leading stocks in today's trading.

CSPI, on Friday (03/12/2010) evening rose 1.68 points, or 0.05 percent to 3696.26. LQ45 index was also slightly decreased 1.72 points to 670.86, while the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) actually sinkhole 6.07 points to 525.48.

The total transaction value was recorded at Rp4, 48 trillion by volume amounted to 4.18 billion shares. A total of 104 stocks moving higher, 115 registered shares weakened, and 85 shares still observed stagnant.

A number of mixed moving sector where the highest strengthening is still led by the plantation sector which rocketed up 24.51 points, 9.86 points followed by the financial sector. While the manufacturing sector fell 11.41 points, and mining down 10.09 points.

Asian stocks mixed this afternoon just move where Japan's Nikkei 225 rose 9.8 points, or 0.1 percent, to 10,178.32, while Hang Seng sinkhole 128.26 points, or 0.55 percent to 23,320.52 followed by the Straits Times who also dropped 22 , 09 points, or 0.69 percent to 3175.87.

In line with the stock Asian, European markets also moved mixed where the FTSE 100 index fell 2.19 points, thin or 0.04 percent, the DAX fell 4.42 points, or 0.06 percent, to 6953.19, while the CAC 40 rose 13.9 points, or 0.37 percent to 3760.94.

Stocks that move strengthened (Top gainers), of which PT Multi Prima Sejahtera Tbk (LPIN) rose Rp800 to Rp4.000, PT Goodyear Indonesia Tbk (GDYR) rose Rp600 to Rp10.500, PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk (BBNI) rose Rp575 to Rp4.700, and PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk (AALI) rose 300 to Rp25.400.

Meanwhile, stocks that move down (top lossers) including PT Astra International Tbk (ASII) down Rp1.300 to Rp52.750, PT Bayan Resources Tbk (ITMG) down Rp950 to Rp46.800, PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk ( UNVR) down 500 to Rp16.200, and PT Indocement Tunggal Prakasa Tbk (INTP) down 500 to Rp16.450.
